You are a person. is a visual novel made in 48 hours during the GDS Game Jam 2025. It follows the story of a loner, who has to make the effort to break his bad habits and be bold in order to get the girl of his dreams.

Best enjoyed with headphones. 

The theme for the game jam was "Fortune favors the bold".

The game explores these themes narratively , artistically and gameplay wise.  Bringing minigames to a genre which generally features slow gameplay, mostly consisting of reading.

As for the artistic boldness - we embraced combining 3D backgrounds with 2D characters and foreground.

Controls

The game was created to be controlled with  a mouse, but you can use your keyboard to skip the typewriting effect of the text.

We are planning to add more control options in the future.
